KING DERP (Minecraft Animation)

Give Matt a hand guys. He's been working day and night for the past several weeks to get this out to you. The man has sacrificed sleep, vacations and other things to get this out! He's done an incredible job despite all the stress and worry! Show him some love and share this animation with your friends!

This was an incredible take on the story of Excalibur! Loved this animation from start to end!

This is amazing, really shows how far derp has come. when I started watching this channel, derp was a dumb screw-up who was only good at accidentally making apocalypses just because he wanted something for his fish. He still shows some aspects of his past, but in a good way, he has come a long way since then. Another thing I want to point out is that most animations with a derp-like character makes the character not learn any lessons, but you are different and that's a good thing.

This might be the most derpiest project I've ever worked on. It was a blast making the sets!

Truly a fitting animation for the King Derp 👑. He now has earnt the title of King, amongst his array of other titles.
Loved the stylistic shots and cinematography in this. You did a great start on it in Enderman Attack, it's great you continued using that in this animation Matt. That ost too, amazing work Marcato did on that, not to mention the tracks you used complemented perfectly for a tale of a legend, the tracks flowed very well from one to another. Cannot imagine the amount of work you put into this animation, hope you get a well-deserved rest after those sleepless nights

I never thought I'd cry over a Minecraft animation, and especially not one about Derp. Yet here we are, once again you guys show how truly talented you are. Thank you. :')

I really like the detail when Derb gives his crown to the child shows how now he's finally ready to take responsibilities of the Kingdom and his people. Leaving his crown shows that now he doesn't care about the fact that he has everything.

I've been waiting for this animation and it looks amazing! Loved the custom assets and buildings. The story was very interesting and I love how expressive the animation is, especially the dragon fight scene which was really epic! Amazing job Matt and your team! Looking forward to your future works! :D

Glad to see Matt take charge of an original animation! It’ll be fun to see his story chops (Without Alex and Steve) and I’m sure this animation will be as action packed as his last!

Awesome work Matt, loved this animation a lot! The fight scenes were intense and smooth flowing, VFX in every scene were well done and the story a little heart warming. The custom music composed goes very well too. Also, the merch looks sickk :o

It is a really good animation, I do love the medival style. I would recomend if you are going medival style, to use archers for range instead of cannons, since the introduction of cannons, ended the medival age and was not used during medival times. But everything else is good, I really do like on how much effort is put into this as it seems it took a long time due to the great ainmation and plot. Great Work, keep it up!

This doesn't give you only entertainment, but also a moral lesson.

I like the clip with Featherstorm fixing her cart wheel with Derp. Also, the music that Marc made, Dragonfire, really puts me in an atmosphere where I could join in on the fight. Big shout out to you guys for the latest amd one of the greatest animations on BPS.

I loved this animation, totally epic. Derp took care of his errors and saved all the people of his village. He demostrated he is a good king and a good person even with his fails. Simply, a Legend

Can't wait! Can already tell this video is gonna be amazing just by looking at the thumbnail! Derp is my favorite character of this channel, so I'm especially excited.

My favorite part was when Derp said "It's Derpin' Time" and proceeded to Derp all over the dragon.

Derp, who had taken excalibur almost by accident and who, at the beginning of his management, does not behave exactly at his best but then redeems himself in a big way and becomes a REAL king 👑

Remember those moments when derp fought zombies, and had guns? Was expecting something like that with the dragon. But the fight here was a lot more cinematic!

Even if Derp is a comedic and clumsy guy, he still has a heroic and strong side on him that truly makes him a king.

A fairy tale story, old as a history, yet so enjoyable in its simplicity and kindness. The execution of it in iconic BPS style is perfect, and tbf I was watching it with a childish smile on my face)

I remember when derp couldn't even swing a sword now he's using guns swords a fish. Honestly out of derp Steve and Alex derp is the most skilled. Also fish isn't the only thing on his mind. Great character development right there.

Late to commenting (watched it as soon as it came out, I was in school) but I love how the animation turned out! It was so fun working on it, I'm new to the team so this was my first one :D Round of applause to Matt and others that I worked with to make this amazing animation happen 💜👏

It's obvious that Derp would pull out the sword so easily. He's basically the main god character that is really underestimated.
His reputation and clumsiness as a Derp is the only thing holding him back from being overpowered, but this makes him the most well-balanced character as well in the animations.

With each passing day deerp stops being an insult and becomes a sign of having a colossal "sword", I thank the entire team at ex black plasma studios and keep going, squared media forever!

Is it just me or do I just really want for songs of war to come out with another movie. Either ways, this was really good.

Bloopers:
When Derp is assigned the role of 'Cannonball', the cannon flies backwards, and hits the skeletons or people on the battlefield.
When the Cart Driver realizes that it's 'King Arthur's Sword', he decapitates Derp and takes the throne for himself.
After taking down the Derp statue, they use the materials to make a statue of his fish.
Derp gets squashed under the Castle's portcullis.
When Derp is fired from the cannon, he misses the dragon, and hits the ground.

The amount of things I loved in this animation and In all the others, was like counting the sand in the desert

Love how some of the skins were alex model skins put on steve models so they had holes in em, guess some of the townsfolk were feeling more holy towards their king than others xD 💖 Absolutely loved the animation and story!!
