I swear the animations just keep getting better and better! I loved the small details like the wind rushing against the dragon's wings while it was flying, the effects of them using terrain in the battle? And obviously the action scenes and expressions were god tier.
Watching Steve struggle to fight against the chains in order to save Alex was such a good scene, you could truly feel the pain and fear he felt by the expressions.
Keep up the great work, and take all the time you guys need for the next season, no rush at all! I can't wait to see it because YES THE AETHER

I’m rewatching this video and it’s still to hyped! I really hope we see a result to this cliffhanger! If there will be a new series, I’m very exited to see the iceologers new and improved fighting skills, like controlling his ice and being able to throw it at enemies or even cooler things! I am definitely going to pray for a season 2 or just a new video.

Did anyone not notice that when the pillager was fighting the leader, all his friends joined him. He got so mad that he broke the hammer but in reality his friends were not there. This isnt just an animation, its a masterpiece

Man! these are sooo good these guys are the GODS of minecraft animation. but there is one question i think we are all asking... when are the next episodes of this series coming out, because i personally DO NOT want this series to meet the same fate as Songs Of War, so all those who watch these guys, make sure to tell your friends and whoever else to subscribe and do some watching so that these guys can get the credit that they deserve and can continue making these EPIC videos!

I have a theory:
Has anyone ever noticed that whenever Steve turns into Herobrine or becomes aggressive, it’s always whenever Alex’s life is in danger. In Nether War, Steve was seen to be showing mercy towards Eric by going easy on him. But when Eric got close to burning Alex alive, true he didn’t transform into Herobrine at that moment, but he still went absolutely berserk and tried to beat the crap out of him! Just to protect Alex! Then in Herobrine Returns, the Baroness destroys his home, kills his horse, does *something* to his dog (it’s not clear if the dog is dead or not) and then proceeds to knock him out. He doesn’t lash out, he doesn’t transform yet and he doesn’t even try to fight back. But when Alex is slashed across the stomach and is about to get stabbed, Steve transforms into Herobrine and strikes a lightening bolt onto her. Again, to protect Alex. After that he faces countless losses and casualties thanks to the Baroness and we don’t see him go Herobrine for a while (save for Take Back the End where he learns to kind of control his power). But that all changes here. When Alex is getting the crap beaten out of her by the Aether Angel guards, all Steve can do is hopelessly watch without being able to save her due to being chained up. That is, until Alex is about to be killed. He breaks out of the chains and goes all Herobrine on their butts!
Again, it always seems like Steve only goes berserk or transforms to protect Alex.
So my theory is that Alex is the only thing able to keep Steve’s dark side in check. Without her by his side, Steve would become Herobrine probably for good and rain down heck fire on everyone! And what’s scary is that once the Baroness realizes this, she might have her soldiers try to kill Alex and force Steve to watch unable to do anything about it. And if they succeed, then Steve’s spirit will finally break and Herobrine will be there to stay. He’ll likely kill the Baroness and everyone in the Aether too out of vengeance. After all, nothing is scarier than a man who has nothing to lose.
But what do you guys think? Keep in mind that I’m not saying that this will happen. This is simply a theory made for fun and speculation and I’d like to hear what you all think! (This took me forever to type 🥲)

It’s a decent theory but remember. Alex and Steve are characters that this channel has been going through for a while. Like the doctor who series. I’ve noticed that these type of animations are the main thing keeping this channel alive AT ALL. So I think they just decided to save Alex last minute because 1, they wouldn’t dare kill her off fir the sake of their popularity and 2, they would probably want to continue this series for a good long time. I don’t think nether war and this ties together, he just was saving his friend. This is no offence to your theory. It’s pretty cool Ngl, maybe losing so much behond the level could turn him to herobrine. Possibly it could turn out that the baroness captured his wolf and will kill him next episode
My dude... this theory right here 🏆🏆🏆🏆 I agree with you; I think Alex and Steve's relationship is so great that they'd do anything for each other; we have seen countless times where Alex was about to die and Steve went all bonkers, whether in his form or Herobrine's form. I really do think Alex is key in this series more than people realize.

Well, 1. We don’t know for sure if they did ANYTHING to the dog. All we see is it run away.
2. Seeing how persuasive the baroness can be and how she seems to have moods (in Herobrine returns we see calm, negotiative, Pillager episode I forgot the name of, we see sorrow and grief. At the beginning of this one we see pride and for some split second surprise/fear) she could negotiate with Herobrine/Steve to be on her side, and not kill everyone there. We’ve seen how she can survive lightning unlike the others and that means she would have time to negotiate. Wow, I disagreed with your theory 2 months ago and now I’m literally theorizing along with it!
We wanted nest episode.

Massive plot hole in how they managed to get the portal to work again. That said, these animations aren't great for their story telling quality, not to be harsh. Animations themselves are stellar though! I love seeing some good Herobrine content and you guys provide it!

Two things:
1. The fact that all those characters that now form the "party" Alex is in have been introduced in animations that were directed a long time ago shows how well you guys thought before choosing your new direction.
2. You added the aether dimension. Mojang didn't. Proof you're superior.

Holy smokes the animation kills! I love how far this story has grown, and I look forward to more in the future. A minor.. issue though, about the combat, I felt like it was way too fast and I had trouble keeping up with how the fights were going. I am absolutely in love with the combat scenes, but this one felt a little too.. fast. I hope this issue is resolved soon, and we love your content!

Definitely isn't the end. It's probably the finale to this "season" in manner. I don't believe they'll end on a cliffhanger like they did in Songs of War.
Herobrine is such a mysterious and so powerful character. It's definitely the best character of minecraft, especially in this series ( srry for my bad english, i'm fernch ^^')

I really love these animations, but as an honest feedback, I find the fighting animations a bit too fast. The graphics are super great, but when you add the non-minecraft effects, it kind of spoils the mood... Overall, it's fun to watch and the storyline's great! :D thanks for reading
try to create a fairly large animation where all the former characters are like: Krista or BPS (I mean David, Derp and and etc) where a very strong opponent will appear and you will defeat him together
