RISE OF THE PILLAGERS - Alex and Steve Life (Minecraft Animation)

I'm starting to enjoy the Steve & Alex series again. At first they had some interesting scenarios with the Patreons that lead to the plot of the animation but then they started to get a little random, things that kinda just started to happen. But now they've taken a darker turn, bringing some tragedy to the series, something that was really needed considering how optimistic most were, always knowing the video ends happily. Now there's some mystery, some excitement and hype. This is not critisizing, just a little feedback for the series. I really am looking up for this mini series of trying to bring back Herobrine, it's well made! Some scenes could've used a little improvement like the campfire scene, it was a bit confusing at first trying to figure what's happening but other than that, the story has been well written so far!

Obviously, they put in more energy and time in this animation than in the last one, and the enthusiasm of the BPS members is fully reflected in it, which is worthy of praise.

It's great to see the story transition quite smoothly from Herobrine's Return. I'm really enjoying the Trailblazers even more, I like how persistent they are when hunting Steve and Alex, ever elusive and dangerous. Definitely helps to make things more tense and I suppose gives Steve and Alex an actual threat. I think what Sergeant Johnson says in Halo 2 perfectly sums them up, "They're tough but they ain't invincible". Cool seeing Timmy again too and his willingness to cooperate with the Illagers. Excellent music choice in this too!

I love how they are making this a consecutive series, instead of non conforming episodes

The animation series is definitely becoming far more interesting, if not a tad bit dark. But thats not necessarily a bad thing, especially considering the quality has improved 10 fold, think the only thing that needs some work is the audio with the feeling of weight behind certain characters, such as the massive Fae juggernaut. Does make me wonder what all the emotion was at the end and why they ended up killing the king and his men...wonder if it was because he didn't follow things to plan, slipped up, or allowed his best to stay on steves side.

This is my favorite video so far out of all the Steve and Alex series so far, and congratulations. You guys have improved so much since your first animations, and you guys are still improving more. I have tried to work with Blender many times, so I know how hard it is to work with (though I would guess once you get the hang of it, it probably gets easier). Thank you guys for making these fantastic animations for us, so here is a like for your hard work. =)

Never thought I would see villagers and pillagers working together, even briefly. Guess there's first time for everything. But I like the idea. After all, they were one people once. And I like that one pillager with the battle axe, he seems more friendly and compassionate than his peers, could be a good leader for the pillagers after their previous one was executed. I hope he won't die during the story, really hope so...

Absolutely stunning. Always loved Steve and Alex, especially the first movie series, but this, the sequel? Its absolutely amazing. I believe it can surpass the first movie and maybe even songs of war. Keep it up black plasma studios

That was a good animation. though after watching your tutorial series on shading, I just felt like the scenes that portray the after math of something tragic, should have some gray ambience to portray the tragedy of fallen comrades. for the final scene, I felt like there should be more a red ambience to portray the betrayal and rage. but other than that, it is a good animation none of the less.

When the Pillagers and villagers both share an enemy it clearly shows both are willing to put their personal and belief issues side to focus on the common goal.

1) what an excellent story, I dare say that the plot would be perfect for the movie, or its sequel if possible, for that I congratulate you and thank you for giving me a good story to relax
2) I don't know what is more ironic, that despite the fact that these 2 "tribes/clans" hated each other, that "king" should have accepted the deal so that, if possible, he could also solve his conflict with the villagers, or that he would have received what he he did, as the saying would say for his situation: "reap what you sow", he betrayed those who did want peace and the other one betrayed him

Thanks BPS for making these awesome animations. I am glad to find animations with real stories in them again just like the good old days. Nice to have some comedy in it but not too much as to ruin the experience which leaves more room for more danger and excitement. This is the perfect blend

This episode was very emotional for me, same with the last one, seeing Alex beat up so bad. The story arc is only going to get more interesting. However, I feel like the agent of Herobrine (or what ever her name is) that is trying to get to Steve, is trying to make him angry enough to bring out Herobrine, similar to Bruce Banner / The Hulk.

Always love the Alex and Steve animations, they never get old! Also so happy this series is going to be weekly! Amazing job as always you guys! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The last two episodes were really emotional, and you guys really painted in a new light the evil of Herobrine's forces. Great plot so far, the cliffhangers just make it better.

It's a great storyline. Both the pillagers and villagers put aside their grudges to fight the common enemy, the Herobrine bloodline.

Really interesting, I like the story, and especially the new characters, none of the scenes seemed too hurried and the result was amazing! I am wondering how else Herobrine will effect Steve through his memory, cause that was a cool idea in the last one, also that new purple hammer character is really cool, reminds me of the robots in the cover of the TheFatRat song Warbringer. The pillagers helping and betraying was a cool touch to the story, as well as that epic chain axe, I really liked that, altogether a great animation, can't wait to see what y'all have in store next! Make sure not to rush anything and it'll turn out perfect, you can't rush art after all

Now everyone’s gotta admit that the villager at 0:54 looks exactly like the one from save the village.

I love the Steve and Alex series! This got really interesting. Villagers and Pillagers were once enemies that fought against each other but now they fight together to stop the war. Can’t wait for the next video soon!

Maybe the story is accelerated but is good. Tragic but with hope. I loved the scene of Steve and Alex training for giving him a motivation
And I liked the double betrayal to the King Pillager xD he betrayed to his own and the new ''allies'' betrayed him. Instant Karma

This is what I've been waiting for. This series is something unto itself.😍😍

Just by the 3 videos they have made so far for this season is amazing, I love this series more than Alex and Steve life there's amazing expressions, sound, music and detail.. like how you can see that Alex is recovering over time by seeing her boots and shirt not as destroyed like before in the other episode.. also I really like how there keeping this as a story then just different ones that don't match the recent episode.
You can see here at 4:19 the lantern behind the Pillager King, the bottom of it has no colour to it.. like it didn't get rendered in, but everything else is completely perfect and also I like how they made the Baroness care about stuff then just simply dont care which I think is great!
And I noticed here at 8:44 you can see that the Pillager Outpost is on fire... .__.
I cant wait till the full series comes out! :D

You guys should make an Alex and Steve Montage with Unity or Adventure Time, both by Alan Walker. I think they'd fit well!

I'll be honest, I had lost interest in the Steve and Alex stories a while ago, though I still watched the animations. After the first few battles, it started to feel a little random and kinda started to bore me. I'm so sorry because I know that sounds super harsh. Now I know that they were necessary to build up the story and allies for this big fight. It makes sense now. You guys have really put a lot into these two Steve and Alex animations and I like the dark turn. It's interesting and really cool to watch Steve struggle with his inner demons. Can't wait to see more! Thank you for everything you guys do.💗 You all deserve so much love for all the hard work you put into these animations. Make sure to take breaks when you need them.
