I would like to say a few words about it:
I've been following Black Plasma Studios, Squared Media at this point, for a long time. I remember the good times and the bad ones and I was always impressed with the creativity and care you put into each of your animations. It's a shame that Sam and Thomas left this scene, they both deserve a big thank you for everything they've done. I think they will remain in the hearts of the whole community.
Black Plasma Studios is not just any BRclip channel, it is a channel where sad and happy stories from the world of Minecraft come to life, which can excite the watchers and listeners and make them feel that they would rather be in the animation and stay there forever.
I'm so glad that even though Sam and Thomas left, the rest of the team stayed and didn't give up on that amazing dream.
I look forward to next animations and stories you create together in the future, either together or with other creators.
While it's a sad moment to see the OG days leave the community, it's a beautiful start to something wonderful that I hope will be a success.
You are a team that sticks together and has great ideas, be brave and please keep making your amazing animations.
Personally, I will try to support your work as much as possible, although I don't have many ways to do it. And I'm sure the community will help you as much as they can. Together we will get to the top of mountins and we will stay there!
It's a big change, but I'm excited to see what it brings. 😁

I Came back after three years its good that the nostalgia is still here
dude its a name change not a over-do of everything they ever were. Its for good reason too they changed the name, the creator of the name “Black Plasma Studios” who was also the main leader of the group, was exposed to be a child groomer. After being exposed he tried to run away from the internet, so he was evicted from black plasma, and someone else took over
Excited to keep working on projects for you guys even tho the OG crew is gone now. We’re all still super passionate about what we do, and I’m excited to see how Matt leads us over the next few years playing a more involved hand in things compared to the last few years.
Can’t wait for you guys to hear about everything else planned for the future :D

I never expected this to happen. In ways I am very sad (very small change can be hard for me lol) but I'm also very happy for everyone on the team! I want to thank you guys for all the work put into your animations, they are so fun and entertaining to watch and they deserve much more than given. Can't wait to see where all of this will go! Now I need to get used to the name lol.

I think it will take a few people a bit to get used to the new name, especially cause of nostalgia for the old name. What we have planned should be awesome though to see unfold.
Matt’s a great choice to take over, we’ve already seen a much more positive and productive work environment, so that’s a good start for us. Lot of cool stuff coming :)

Man, Black Plasma Studios will forever be one of the best studios, from the old deep animations to songs of war, the walking dead animation was amazing.

As someone who's been watching this channel since 2015, I will miss the old name a lot...but that won't stop me from being excited for this new era. I am very excited for future projects you guys have planned for us!

It's sad to see my Childhood fade away, so many things have changed. Ever since the cancellation of Songs Of War Season 2/3, I personally think that the Channel slowly died. Sure, the Steve and Alex series and some other animation was a banger but it seemed like after the cancellation I didn't think any of the animations were that much of a hype anymore. Songs Of War is still and forever will be one of the greatest animations I have watched, the Music and Scenery is too beautiful to be true. But anyway times have gone by fast and I wish you all the best for your upcoming development of this channel and community.

@hmmmmm yep! Bamboo studios are going to put FULL effort on the season 3! And Blitzbot will make the season 2 I think, because he said he has no plan on canceling the season 2! Even with the recent events going on!

As someone who’s been a fan of the channel since before the Minecraft animations started, it’s a bitter sweet thing for a rebranding. But I understand that with new leadership comes a new direction for the channel too. I’m happy that the team will be creating more animations on a more consistent basis as well. I just hope that everyone is doing okay after the transition to a new era of the channel. It’s gonna take some time for me to get used to the new name but I’m excited for the future for this channel! 😄
Can we all just appreciate how much Squared Media puts in their efforts to make animations
Like others have said, I will miss BPS, but the rebrand and the many changes planned for Squared Media has me excited for this new phase and the many things in store down the road!

As an old veteran of this channel, I'm sad to see the name of the channel go, back before I even had an email and BRclip account I was watching the old Halo 3 machinima's, that's how long I've been around this channel, and I want to just say, thank you for the long but amazing ride to this day, its been an absolute pleasure and seeing the channel grow and go to new places makes me smile, take it easy gentleman, I hope the best for all of you❤
Really looking forward to that minecraft animation tutorial. I wanna get started with animating myself and thought about doing a blender course but that would include so much more and seems a bit intimmidating as a whole. Maybe getting started with just minecraft in focus isn't a bad idea.

Been waiting for this announcement. I, like many others, will miss what was, but with high hopes for the future of this channel. Good luck to everyone at Squared Media, and to the two who left. Change may bring fear and trepidation, but change can be good and bring greater things.

Your animations are so good, so epic, that some of the videos send shivers down my spine. I tried to do my own animations with your tutorial as well, because they were just amazing. However, I don't think there are any more user preferences in the newer versions of "Blender", which means that almost everything in the tutorial no longer makes sense. Can you please make a new one??? Your videos are so incredibly good and if there's something like that to learn, I'd love to.

I thought this was a late April Fool's joke!!! I'm so sad you guys changed the name and everything!!! 😭I love this channel everyone who works on it is so talented. I found this channel threw Songs of War. One of my dreams was to one day help make animations with all of you. It still is but I'm just so overwhelmed. I'm excited for the future but still nervous about what's to come.
Black Plasma studios isn’t actually gone because instead I find this as a large improvement and who knows what the future holds for us but I sense something great out of all of this.😁❤️

Have been following BPS for years, and must say all your projects so far had been master pieces, and i really looking for what Square Media(Great name by the way) are going to do, excited for new projects and really looking for this server.

Update on 20th September 2023:
On 3:33, We can see that there were a remaining 8 animation projects left and so far, currently 3 projects had already finished before the new upcoming animation movie in high school series at 3:36. Which is amazing!

This took me on an emotional roller coaster. I was so happy when Songs of War was mentioned, just to have my soul crushed again when learning they werent going to continue. I am sadder than when they first announced no season 2
So long BPS...Hoping for this rebrand to be successful and would love to have more opportunities to help out on whatever cool stuff yall have in the works.

Oh man....... I remember watching things like that old machinima of the blood blade being a scientific revolution... or Rise of The Spartans... those two are by far my most memorable, I was almost certain BPS would be dead. But here we are with some videos getting *Hundreds of MILLIONS* of views... good goin black plasma!
Edit: To clarify, by still calling them Black Plasma, it is not to disparage, it is simply habit, as I'm sure I really don't need to clarify as we are all nostalgic of this stuff, but I am self conscious ig LOL!

The story is basically the same but the animation styles are a bit different.
