TAKE BACK THE END - Alex and Steve Life (Minecraft Animation)

Ok now that it's out, this was easily my most ambitious animation yet and massive thanks to all who helped work on this. Feel free to leave a review on what ya like/think could be improved when it’s out. Omeleto’s animation releases next week which will conclude this batch to the series, so hope you’re all hyped for that as well.

While I had troubles with the previous animation, this one seems like it won't go wrong. Fight scenes are going to be extremely critical and the quality that is shown in the thumbnail should bleed into the animation to some extent.
Edit (12/10/22): In comparison to the last one, this animation is relatively good. I'd say it takes that traditional feel. The emotions are rarely overexaggerated and they feel real. Excellent job on that. I still find it interesting that the Baroness saved Steve in the previous animation yet takes him back. This might have been a result of needing to capture him while also needing him to stay alive. Either way, the animation is back to where it used to be, which is awesome.
Second Edit (12/11/22): The visuals were the best part, I loved the designs from Songs of War, and it is one of my favorite YT series videos of all time. You managed to give me nostalgia and I appreciate it. Also, good work taking the time to look back on your comments to improve. That move is incredibly smart and this team is truly amazing because of it.

Good to see you guys bring back the amazing quality of the first nether war animation and fight scenes which compliment each other greatly. Seeing the characters fight and counter, block stuff like that is amazing it adds some realism sort of thing to it. Keep it this way if u guys can it's pretty hard to upload every week so I don't think anyone would complain if ur took your time to absolutely be proud of the work you'll show to all the people with great expectations. My one problem is that in the training part where everyone shows off and trains their unique style and abilities Steve and ender dragon both has lightning. It'd have been very cool to just give the dragon it's classic purple fire/fire ball honestly it would look cooler than lightning since the graphics and again animation is a killer like all the previous GOOD ones. Everything accounted the episode was extraordinary.

That was incredible! The work that went into the camera angles really paid off! I loved seeing Alex fly around and get the bird's eye view of it all. And just the dynamic camera work around the combat scenes really looked good, it was proper fun to watch! Their expressions were also on point. No one ever looked comical or goofy, just expressive enough to know exactly what they were thinking. I mean even the wither's face was well done lol. Nice pacing and music choice, you really outdid yourselves this time Mont and crew!

being honest here, I do believe that a series like this would benefit GREATLY from having voice actors. It is something that can get expensive, but the outcome would be worth it.

Okay let me start, this has got to be one of BPS' best animations by far. Mont and the others did an amazing job on the animation, it was so fluid and smooth, certain parts with perspective and camera following them in some scenes was so pleasing to look at! Oh and expressions were absolutely amazing! I love how in the story it showed them training in the end, it made more sense instead of them rushing in and knowing everything about fighting already.
This animation, Nether War, and Herobrine returns, have been my favorite animations ever posted on this channel.
And in a way this episode brought me back to my childhood, for one animation life and another I grew up with was Minecraft Story Mode! So this brought me so much joy when watching it, keep on the great work BPS, Everyone in the team is awesome!

I love how they're steadily tying in characters from past videos like Eric and Lone. Also love how they added the detail of the Ender Dragon shooting lightning and having glowing scales. For those who don't remember, when he was little he saved the village from burning up by absorbing lightning blasts. Awsome video! Also I loved the movement in Alex's wings as she flew overhead, and the lighting of the end. And I could go on and on 😁

Now that is the good animation quality I've seen. I was a little worried you were cutting corners but I think I was just a small dry spell of money. Your animations have always been the best in my opinion and you chow Minecraft's base structure so well. Your team of animators hardly dissapoint. God job.

Wow, I'm speechless. The team really puts effort into this, and its really worth it, this channel is legendary. You guys make our days so much better! These movies are amazing, the animation, the movements, the face expressions are so well detailed! And the storyline, the music, the locations, the places are so well built... All of my appreciation are yours guys.

God man, the more episodes that come out the more and more i get excited and fall in love with the story, I really love this series :D It's amazing to see what a whole team of people can create together with a passion for story telling!

I'm glad the molten titan got a second chance at a great introduction, this definitely made it feel like it's more of a problem to the characters at the time, love that!
I have a few questions, like when did the Shepard girl make an alliance with the ender warriors? What does the Nether stand to gain by taking that single fortress in the End? Why does the traveling group decide to forget that they're being chased? And when did Steve learn to control the power of Herobrine? I feel like the Herobrine powers need more of an explanation, because up until this point Steve hasn't even made attempts at controlling it, settling on just wielding the sword as a sword instead of a power source, so I'm not sure what's happening there.
Having the ender dragon channel lightning was an interesting idea, it feels like they relied on it to win a bit too much, but it looked great, worked well with the story and the animation was overall amazing, great job!

This episode in particular gave me strong Songs of War vibes. Specifically, the Ender Knights in general and the Nether forces taking over the End. I miss this legend...

My main criticism is that Alex hasn't actually gotten any real spotlight moments since the Enderman Attack episode during A&S Life. She wasn't in the Iceologer, and was only in a flashback in the dragon egg arc. Her presence in the Warden episode didn't really change anything (she knocked a potion off a ledge but nothing else she did other than grabbing the moss had an effect on the video). She was sorta a side character in the Nether War video, it wasn't really a problem in Nether War it's just the videos around it. Got her ass kicked the moment she started fighting in returns, and spent most of Rise of the Pillagers out of commission from injuries. She hasn't really gotten to do anything integral to the plot in a while, is all I'm saying

NGL, this is one of the best animations I've seen from BPS so far.
Everyone is starting to get real, defined, talents, and are finally using them properly.

Excellent work on this animation Mont! I must say you absolutely nail the atmosphere of the End; the mist, the lighting, even the end details like the ender bees and the weapons were awesome). It's great to see assets used from other animations like SOW in this animation, they look great and helps to freshen up A+S series up. Love seeing the attention to detail in the other elements in the animation (the Wither for example)!

When I saw the thumbnail, my first reaction was that it was a songs of war crossover… it baffles me how much the animations have improved since the series was cancelled, and i’m sure you guys would get tons of support if you brought it back, even at a much slower rate

Can’t wait to see what they do with the story line and Steve returning to his roots as Herobrine.

I was thinking that this one was kinda losing sight of the original "Herobrine Returns" idea, but then you played that into their characters and let them get sidetracked and ambushed. Very nicely done! Although I will say the sound design was a little off, but that's not a major issue.

I got randomly unsubscribed and forgot about this channel for 2 years and I randomly remembered it glad too see it’s just as good as it was before

2:12 How could the dragon cross through that very small portal? Also, you need ender pearls (or trapdoors) for crossing it.

Well this is an improvement compared to the previous animation. There're hardly weird details, the fights are dynamic and powerful. The Ender Training with tangible holograms is interesting and Steve using the Herobrine's power with his sword is amazing. It looks like only in this dimension he can use it. In previous animations he didn't use it, he didn't even seem to understand the power of that sword. but it's ok. And the epicity returns in the video and the fights, you can feel it. It doesn't make you scream of emotion but there it is, and that is good. The characters win the final battle with a bit of strategy and the power of Steve, and the Ender Swords are epic for me. You could teleport yourself only thinking where you want to go in real time, for example giving a hit in the chest and immediately later, a hit on the back. The animations are better although the expressions and gestures in the first part, with the ''dragon tamer'' worried for his dragon, are too much ambiguous for me.
I was surprised by the Fallen Angels taking Steve. I was wondering where they were. Also I thought Alex got a serious damage when she was hit trying to save Steve and she fall to the ground. But it was just a hit. No blood. No hurt. Not even a hole in her clothes.
I only hope the elytras don't break and leave her in free fall xd.
When the Titan emerged from the earth, apart of this is a new opportunity for using it and create a true threat with him, I felt it like it was smaller than the previous time. I'm not sure if this is true but well, the Titan is back again and now it's time of a true battle against it. Don't waste it plz.
Conclusion: It's better than the last animation, but I can't avoid feel like the quality still being a bit lower than the usual one. It's... standart. But don't stop for it. Continue, you can recover yourself and get your skills better!!

This was easily one of the best Minecraft animations yet! The music that was in the popular battle royale animation, gave me chills, made me realise how far this truly is ♥️

This is one of the best animation that are produced in black plasma studios, some scenes are kinda the same from the movie, "Godzilla king of Monsters"

So epic, Literally blew my mind, Huge props to Mont and all the other animators for creating this, It must've taken a lot of time to complete this :O

Ok.........THIS ANIMATION WAS AMAZING!!!!! Also, if only shulkers were actually that useful 3:09 😂 I absolutely love the holograms and the new ender people designs. To all of the storyline/plot developers, you are all phenomenal at your job! I'm truly enjoying each video that comes out and getting to watch Steve and Alex experience new things is always a fun ride. I'm happy that Steve is accepting his abilities and is still loved by those around him. Herobrine is a great villain, but this twist with him being a type of evil side to Steve is really cool to see. I've never seen it played out like this, so I look forward to seeing where this goes in future videos. He's worked hard to keep that side in check and I feel that he's mastered that side to him.

I nearly died of joy at 8:03. The character development, even though there's no words and the plot is slightly confusing, is incredible. Keep up the good work!!

This was so well done, the beginning explaining what happened, the training scene, wich gave a sense of preparation, something that nearly doesn’t happen enough in modern movies again, the battle itself, the turnaround and a clever plan to win anyway…

Absolutely loved it. This was the best animation in this series by far. Can’t wait to see what’s next because of the agonising cliffhanger. I have no idea how you do this story so good. Especially with starfall.

Plot twist after plot twist in this series, I'm loving it! I also love how Steve is using his "corrupted" side to his advantage now instead of seeing it as a setback. He's come a long way!

OK this was the best one so far imo, Steve & Alex finally got a new item to use in combat or overall, massive SoW nostalgia with the Enderknights and Netherans, callbacks to previous episodes like Dragon Egg and last week's Nether Titan and when we were just about to get a happy ending, BOOM! Steve captured and the crew shot by a cannonball, and then we get the awesome chase sequence and the end scene which really brought Infinity War/Endgame vibes, that's how good this episode was! Looking forward to the finale next week!

I love, so much, the detail you have given to The End, how much life you've given back to it. The battle between the Dragon and Wither was amazing! That ending, shocks throughout! Keep up the amazing work everyone, thank you!

what I love about this animation is that it's eye catching especially as a minecraft fan, the skin designs are super cool, the face animations ? on point ! everythings is flawless and amazing ! good job black plasma studios

I really love these minecraft animations and the truth is this is one of my favorite minecraft animation channels with all my heart I thank all those people who invest their time in creating these works of art from the animation, the music, everything in itself is beautiful thank you so much for having created these stories

It's also nice to see that the End dimension is inhabited, the conflict between Nether Knights and Ender Knights reminds me of Songs of War.

Is it just me or did anyone else think that, when the Ender Dragon I guess charged up, it looked like Toothless’s alpha charge from HTTYD or Godzilla’s charge? Loving this animation series! Once again Black Plasma Studios, you have outdone your selves!

Okay, I can't help it, but it seems like Steve is slowly starting to rely more and more on the Herobrine side of his powers, and I think that will eventually come back to bite him at some point in the future. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm just reading too much into it, but that's what the animation appears to be saying.

Great job on the animation! I always felt that combat animations were a bit too slow, but now it’s great! Glad to see you guys still post! My one complaint:
The story is sort of all over the place. One second they save the nether, the second Steve gets stolen. And what’s up with that magma giant. This could be so good if you could just explain the story better. Add some voice actors. You’ve done it before, and that was really really good! Otherwise, great animation.

I personally really feel as if they took the songs of war script and changed the skins, weapons and events. from a simple life- to a warrior fighting in the nether, to fighting in the end. thats the exact script of songs of war. eventually- steve and alex get together, finish the fights and live a happily ever after. the "songs" could be the swords/sword steve found / alex's trident- and there was also things like dragons, withers, ender knights, nether knights, and magic. like i said- they somewhat altered SOW script into steve and alex adventures.
great job anyways! although- it would be amazing if Songs Of War would be back into plans.

I saw that prophecy looking thing and it got me thinking, it would be interesting if a character learned how to tame and befriend wardens...or at least a warden (id imagine it would be using bottles of enchanting since sculk feeds off exp and wardens r made of sculk)...and yes, using wardens as bodyguards is possible in vanilla since i was the first person to set up a system that would release a warden "guard" to defend my city. (At least the first person in the official update) Granted, im not the only one to capture a warden, but i am the first person to legit put it to work 😂(not to mention someone legit tamed an ender dragon, something nearly every player has been wanting for years 😂 so as far as im concerned, anything can be tamed in the series)

Gotta say, I love those Ender Bees. I wish The End had more biodiversity. Such a fascinating place, but so little to explore.

Loved the Godzilla references right here 5:56, and 7:21, and the King Ghidorah reference at 7:06. This series has been getting better and better with every new video that drops. Love your work and keep on doing it Black Plasma Studios!

I look at the factions fighting in the End and think: "Wait, are Alex and Steve's Adventures taking place in the Songs of War universe?"
Sure, I get reusing 3D assets, but the whole Nether vs End thing, Ender Knights, and odd lack of actual Endermen looks very Songs of Warsy to me. Especially when the Nethertroops aren't a canon Nether race and are using a Wither as their heavy.
Oh, and Steve has learned to channel his inner Herobrine while Alex has replaced her trident with a new toy. They still get bodied by Herobrine's suicidally stupid ex-minions.
Also, the Enderbees are cute.

this is such a cool animation, but I think that the beginning is a good representation on what could be in the lore of minecraft; two warring factions, one protecting and training the dragons and the other using the dark arts of necromancy that drove them from the overworld in the first place.

Well that was a big cliffhanger. Though here's my theory: Now that Steve is really unlocking his powers Baroness thinks it's time to turn him to their side. Also I think the Nether Giant will be used to bring the airships down, possibly. Also I wonder if the original Hero-Brian will return.

I LOVED this animation!!! The fact that Steve could turn into Herobine was so cool and i loved the ender kinghts' suits. I liked the fact that you continued this from the nether titan and how you also linked it with the flying people. Lovely jubbly!!!
